Tom Griffin is the Director and Co-Founder of Greener Results, a sustainability consulting group that is part of Air Cycle Corporation, headquartered in Broadview, IL. Greener Results performs a wide-array of sustainability consulting services, but Tom specializes in the development and management of voluntary environmental programs for the hospitality and tourism industry.

Tom’s environmental career has provided him with a wide breadth of knowledge in most environmental topics. Prior to starting Greener Results in 2008, Tom spent 18 years in state government, where he developed and ran a wide array of voluntary, pollution prevention-based programs that focused on cost savings and public recognition. Tom has distinguished himself as an expert in helping businesses develop efficient and practical environmental programs that are focused on improved performance and cost-savings.

Tom and the staff at Greener Results were instrumental in developing the voluntary framework and resources for Conserve. Additionally, Greener Results works in support of several green tourism programs and has developed a training program through Virginia Tech, entitled Sustainable Restaurant & Hospitality Management, which trains restaurant managers and staff on how to run an effective green program. Greener Results also works one on one with many restaurants to help them develop sustainability programs that are effective and meaningful, and all-the-while focused on improved profitability.
